Megan crept into the house close to midnight. Bailey had asked to spend the night so Wren didn’t have to come back to the house to pick her up. Instead of going straight home after they left the restaurant, Megan had called David and met him at the Piano Bar Lounge for a drink. She had never hung out with David outside of work, so he jumped at the opportunity to meet her for drinks. She didn’t have to wait at the bar long before she saw his tall beautiful frame walking in. He looked even sexier in his casual gear. She was glad that she and Wren had brought sundresses and sandals to change into after Yoga class because she would have felt terrible sitting in there with him in sweats when he was looking so good. But with her fresh body wrap and exfoliation, massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and hair washed and set, she knew she was looking good too.
David chose a nice little booth not too close to the stage so they could listen to the jazz music and still hear each other talk with out having to yell. They had a few rounds of drinks and danced to the jazz quartet. When the band finished it’s final set, it was open night for poets. They sat and enjoyed the poetry as they talked and laughed. They even got on stage and ad libed a poem together. Megan hadn’t had so much fun or felt so free in a long time. She felt so comfortable with David. They talked about any and everything, even laughing at some of the other poets who just got on stage just to be up there being silly and not really making any sense. Megan hated to leave when it started to get late, but she knew she had to get home. Since Tony was spending all of his time at home now, he would be wondering where she was. Walking her to her car and giving her a big hug, David didn’t want the night to end either. He made her promise to call him and let him know that everything was okay when she got home.
Tony was wide-awake when she walked into the bedroom.
“You look good. I didn’t know the spa stayed open this late.” He stared at her.
“It doesn’t, Wren and I had dinner and drinks afterwards Tony. What’s your problem?” She knew he had an attitude.
“My problem is that my wife is strolling in here after midnight drunk and I haven’t talked to her all day.” He started.
“Tony don’t start with me. You finally decide to spend a few days at home and now you want to get an attitude because I spend one night out with my friend. I’ve been spending all these years at home taking care of the kids, now I get one day off and you want to trip? I’m not in the mood for this right now.” She grabbed her pajamas and headed to the guest room.

This is my first time getting an opportunity to read your work and you definitely have skills. I think you should keep at it and get into your writing whenever you're feeling your creative flow. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished work when you get to that point.
